Does this watch need a battery?
No. It's a self-winding automatic, powered by the movement of your wrist.
What happens if I don't wear it for a day or two?
It may stop. Wind the crown 20–30 turns or shake it gently, then reset the time.
How do I set the time?
Pull the crown out and turn it.
How do I set the day and date?
Press the two hidden buttons on the case side with a small blunt pin. One moves the day and the other moves the date.
Does the moon phase actually work?
Yes. It follows the lunar cycle and can be adjusted to match the current moon.
Is it waterproof?
It's rated 30M, so it handles rain, splashes and handwashing. Don't swim or shower with it.
Is it accurate like a quartz watch?
No mechanical watch is as accurate as quartz. A small daily variation is normal.
What is the case made of?
Stainless steel with an exhibition case back.
Is the crystal sapphire?
No. It's hardened mineral glass, which is scratch-resistant for everyday use.
Will it fit my wrist?
It's best on wrists of 6.5 inches and up, see the fit guide above. The 22mm leather strap fits most wrist sizes.
Can I change the strap?
Yes. Any standard 22mm strap fits.
What brand name is on the dial?
The current stock carries the original manufacturer's branding on the dial, as shown in the photos.
