"A year plus in my hand"

I've had it for over a year now and it has performed very well. Still very satisfied with the quality and the overall experience.

I think this watch is great. I normally like big, heavy watches — I'm used to the G-Shock G-Steel — and this one feels just like that, looks just as great, for a fraction of the price. I am extremely happy with it.

A genuine dive chronograph, priced honestly

Mechanical feel. Quartz dependability. Built to take a beating.

Inside the AbyssForce 500M is Seiko's VK63 meca-quartz movement, the same chronograph respected microbrands like Dan Henry and Brew build around. Pair that with 500 meters of water resistance, screw-down chronograph pushers, solid 316L steel, and anti-reflective sapphire crystal, and you've got a watch that's meant to be worn hard, not kept in a drawer.

About the dial branding

Right now, this watch ships with the manufacturer's branding (FEELNEVER) on the dial. We're in the process of moving from reseller to our own custom-branded production, but rather than wait years to hit custom minimum order quantities, we'd rather sell honestly at a fair price today.

That said, every watch still comes backed by our 12-month warranty, 30-day return window, and a real person on the other end of customer support. Future Wrist–branded dials are already in development. If branding is a dealbreaker for you, reach out before you order and we'll walk you through the timeline.

Seiko VK63 meca-quartz: a chronograph that actually performs

  • A mechanical chronograph module gives you a smooth sweeping seconds hand while you're timing
  • The reset snaps back instantly — genuinely satisfying mechanical feedback
  • Quartz-grade accuracy, good to within 20 seconds per month
  • Runs roughly 3 years on a single CR1216 battery, swappable at any watch shop
  • Three sub-dials track 60 minutes, 24 hours, and running seconds, with the date window sitting at 6 o'clock

This isn't an automatic, so skip the crown-winding — but it's got more personality than your average quartz watch.

AbyssForce 316L stainless steel case

316L stainless steel: real weight, real presence

  • Case and bracelet are both solid 316L stainless steel — no hollow links here
  • The folding clasp is signed and comes with a safety lock
  • 24mm lugs make strap swaps simple, and the 230mm bracelet comfortably fits wrists from 7.0 to 8.5 inches
  • At 48mm wide, 14mm thick, and 270 grams, it carries the kind of heft that tells you it's not hollow inside

We sized it bold on purpose — this is for people who want their diver to actually get noticed.

Anti-reflective sapphire crystal

  • Sapphire crystal shrugs off the everyday stuff — desks, keys, whatever your day throws at it
  • An anti-reflective coating keeps glare down whether you're in the sun, underwater, or just under office lighting
  • The dial stays easy to read no matter where you are

It's a small upgrade that keeps the face looking sharp years down the line.

AbyssForce solid stainless steel bracelet and clasp

500M (50 BAR) and a bracelet built to match

  • Screw-down crown and pushers keep water out even mid-timing
  • This is well past splash-proof territory
  • Every link is solid stainless steel, so there's nothing hollow or prone to corrosion
  • The signed folding clasp with safety lock isn't going anywhere on its own

If you don't want to think twice every time this gets wet, that rating's for you.

A note on sizing

At 48mm wide, 14mm thick, and 270 grams, this watch makes itself known. It's built for wrists 7.0 inches and up. Looking for something a bit more understated? Check out the AbyssNova 200M (40mm) or the AbyssHeritage 500M (43mm) instead.

Frequently asked

Is this watch automatic or quartz?
It runs on a Seiko VK63 meca-quartz movement, which blends battery-powered quartz timekeeping (accurate to about 20 seconds a month) with a mechanical chronograph module — so you get a smooth sweeping seconds hand and a satisfying snap-back reset. The battery lasts roughly 3 years. It's not a fully automatic mechanical watch, so there's no need to wind the crown.
Does the chronograph actually work?
Yes, completely. Three sub-dials cover elapsed minutes (at 12 o'clock, up to 60), elapsed hours (at 9 o'clock, up to 24), and running seconds (at 6 o'clock). The screw-down pushers above and below the crown handle start, stop, and reset.
What is the tachymeter for?
The tachymeter scale on the chapter ring lets you measure speed over a known distance. Start the chronograph as you pass a starting marker, stop it as you pass a marker exactly one mile or one kilometer away, and the number the seconds hand points to is your speed in MPH or KMH.
Can the chronograph be operated underwater?
The pushers are screw-down, which keeps water resistance intact while the chronograph is running. That said, we'd recommend double-checking the pushers are fully screwed in before any water activity, just for peace of mind.
What is the helium release valve for?
It's built for professional saturation-diving conditions, where helium can get trapped under the crystal during decompression. Recreational divers will likely never need it, but it's there as part of the watch's full dive-spec build.
How long does the battery last?
Around 3 years with normal use. When it's time for a swap, any watch service center can handle it, usually for somewhere between $10 and $20.
How accurate is the watch?
The Seiko VK63 movement keeps time to within 20 seconds per month, which is noticeably tighter than a typical automatic mechanical watch, which usually runs around 30 seconds per day.
Is this a real dive watch?
It is. Between the 500M (50 BAR) rating, the rotating dive bezel, the screw-down crown, and the screw-down pushers, this is a legitimate diver — fine for swimming, snorkeling, surfing, or recreational scuba.
Are the bracelet links solid or hollow?
Solid 316L stainless steel throughout, not hollow. That's part of why it carries its full 270-gram weight and feels substantial on the wrist.
What size wrist does it fit?
The 48mm case wears best on wrists 7.0 inches (18cm) and up, and the 230mm band fits anywhere from 7.0 to 8.5 inches. If you're between 6.5 and 7.0 inches, it'll still fit, just boldly. Under 6.5 inches, we'd point you toward the AbyssNova 200M (40mm) or the AbyssHeritage 500M (43mm) instead.
Why does the dial say "FEELNEVER"?
That's the manufacturer's branding, and it's what our current inventory ships with. We're already working on dial production under our own Future Wrist branding for an upcoming batch. In the meantime, you're getting a fairly priced watch backed by US-based support and a 12-month warranty.
What's included in the box?
The watch itself, a presentation box, a user manual, a 12-month warranty card, and a microfiber cleaning cloth.
What's the warranty and return policy?
You get a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects starting from your purchase date, plus 30 days to return it if it's not the right fit. Everything ships out of California within 2 to 7 business days.
