To quantify that difference, we independently weighed nine titanium and stainless steel dive watches using the same calibrated digital jeweler's scale under identical testing conditions. The results were clear. How We Weighed the Watches: Methodology

Manufacturer specifications often list a watch's weight, but those figures aren't always measured the same way. As a result, comparing published specifications across brands can be misleading.

To create a dataset that could be compared fairly, we measured all nine dive watches using the same digital jeweler's scale with 0.1-gram precision and followed an identical testing process for every model.

Unlike manufacturer specification sheets, which may use different bracelet lengths, prototype models, or unpublished measurement methods, our results are based on identical testing procedures across all nine watches. What the Weight Difference Feels Like

Another important finding from our measurements is that the bracelet, not just the case, plays a major role in overall comfort.
